RMIS Scholarship Program

RMIS, along with the Risk & Insurance Department, is happy to announce the revival of the RMIS Scholarship Program!
The Program is designed to attract new members to RMIS and provide greater incentive for stronger involvement of our membership base. System: Members will be allotted points based on the events they attend subject to a scheduled point breakdown by event. To secure a scholarship, an RMISer must attend 70% of the events each semester, with some events being compulsory. The Scholarship amount will be $100/semester. Risk & Insurance Department Scholarships
The Risk & Insurance Department offers scholarships to RMI majors who perform well academically, get involved in the RMI events and groups on campus, and commit themselves to pursue a career in RMI. These scholarships are awarded annually in the Spring for the following academic year and Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors are eligible to apply.
Applications typically open at the start of the Spring semester and close in March.
Preference for these scholarships will be partially based on attendance at RMIS events and the Selection Committee will have full access to RMIS attendance to use in making selection decisions.
